The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will organise a one-day Capacity Building Programme (CBP) for teachers across multiple locations from January 5. The offline event will be held for mandatory implementation of skill education in classes 6 to 8 using the Kaushal Bodh activity books by NCERT.
The capacity building programmes are being held in partnership with Sahodaya schools across various districts and cities, as per the official notification by the CBSE.
The board has urged the directors, principals, vice-principals, co-ordinators, and teachers of CBSE-affiliated schools to participate in the programme for effective implementation of skill education in their schools.
“For further cascading of the CBPs, Master Trainers (MTs) will also be selected from among the participants of these CBPs,” the CBSE said.
The programames will be held in a face-to-face mode from 9 am to 5: 30 pm. It will take place from January 5 to 31, 2026 in various schools across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, West Bengal, Rajasthan, and Faridabad.
“There is no fee for attending these Capacity Building Programmes. No TA/DA will be admissible to the participants,” the board said. Participants must carry the NCERT Kaushal Bodh textbooks throughout the event.
