CUET Result Date: Following the issuance of the CUET UG 2026 provisional answer key, several students have raised concerns on social media claiming their responses entered do not correspond to any question IDs in the key.

Students are in “shock” due to unusually low scores after calculating marks with the help of the CUET UG 2026 provisional answer keys. NTA has issued the CUET UG 2026 answer key, and candidates can raise challenges by June 11.

Students have raised their concerns on X and pointed out that the fee required to challenge the CUET 2026 answer key is “too much,” especially for the mistakes made by the testing agency. To object to the CUET provisional answer key, candidates will have to pay Rs 200 per question challenged.

CUET Answer Key 2026: NTA responds amid concerns

Meanwhile, the testing agency has asked one of the candidates to share his application number via the direct message option; however, the students responded to the NTA’s post on (X), saying that their direct message option is not accessible.

The student posted his concerns on X and said: “What is this @NTA_Exams ? My CUET answer key is wrong, not matching any question ID.”

“My CUET answer-key is wrong. As requested, my CUET (UG) 2026 Application Number is: 263510483860 Kindly look into my concern regarding the answer key,” a student posted on X.

The students also demanded that NTA must make a video on the issue of serious errors appearing in the released CUET answer keys, as lakhs of students appeared for the exam with years of hard work and hopes.

Another student posted on X and said: “@NTA_Exams it is my humble request to you, please re-check the CUET-UG 2026 answer it is showing most of the questions incorrect & I'm not that dumb to give Rs 200 to you per question.. i think the exam is just business, literally the fee is so high that most of the can't afford it.”

More than 15 lakh students appeared for the CUET UG 2026 exam, scheduled from May 11 to 31 and on June 6-7 across 321 exam cities, including 15 international cities.
