As part of the University College Accreditation, Review and Excellence Scheme (U-CARES), the first 25 affiliated colleges applying for NAAC accreditation will receive an incentive of Rs 15,000, according to an official statement.
The announcement was made today during a workshop on NIRF and NAAC, organised by the CSJMU.

Vinay Kumar Pathak, vice chancellor, director of College Development Council said: “The identity of any higher education institution is determined by its academic quality, research, innovation, student progress, transparent governance, and social responsibility. I urge colleges to make quality assurance a permanent part of their work culture.”
